Dr. Natalie Strynadka
Dr. Strynadka is the director of the facility. She is a Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at UBC, Faculty of Medicine, and a Fellow of the Royal Society.

Dr. Claire Atkinson
Dr. Atkinson is the facility manager. She has a Ph.D. in biophysics from Rockefeller University and carried out her postdoctoral work at the University of Chicago with Robert Keenan.

Dr. Amy Wo
Dr. Wo is a technician/research assistant. She has a PhD in materials science from the University of Hong Kong. Previously, she was a research associate at the Electron Microscopy Unit at the University of New South Wales and a research assistant professor in Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Washington State University.

Dr. Barathy Deivanayaga
Dr. Deivanayaga completed his PhD in the Molecular Biophysics Unit IISc, Bangalore and then postdoctoral work with Prof. Dr. Stefan Raunser at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Physiology in Dortmund, Germany. Barathy subsequently acted as an operational team member for the Netherlands Centre for Electron Nanoscopy (NeCEN) for several years before joining HRMEM.

Dr. Liam Worrall
Dr. Worrall is a senior structural biology research associate with expertise in single particle cryoEM and x-ray crystallography. He obtained his PhD from the University of Edinburgh, and currently acts as the computational and IT lead for HRMEM.
